Encountering Professor Keller at the Gateway to a World of Gender and Science

We present here recollections by two scientists of Professor Keller's Taiwan tour. They both sat in the audience of her talk as undergraduate students at National Yang-Ming University and had the chance to enjoy her intellectual charm while escorting her around Taipei. Through her words and her writings, Keller opened new horizons for those two students on their ways to pursuing careers in science. A medical graduate, Chien-Kuang Cornelia Ding is a PhD candidate in genetics and genomics at Duke University. At the time of publication. Li-Tang Tsai has completed her PhD training at the University of Jyväskyla, Finland.
